EARLY BIRD 10% for enrollment in Specializing Masters and Executive Courses starting in the next months
On Wednesday 17 November 2021, at the National Museum of the Kingdom of Bahrain, the exhibition “DIVA! Italian Glamour in Fashion Jewellery” officially opened its doors. With more than 200 pieces, tells the story behind the evolution of Italian jewellery from the 1950s to the present day and highlights the creativity, beauty and innovation of Italian manufacturing.
The exhibition, which will run until 11 December 2021, has been supported not only by POLI.design and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, but also by the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities and the Italian Embassy in Bahrain. The exhibition is curated by Alba Cappellieri, Scientific Director of the Specializing Master in Fashion Creation: Accessory Design, managed by POLI.design, as well as Professor at Politecnico di Milano and Director of the Jewellery Museum in Vicenza.
Moreover, on the occasion of the exhibition, on 18 November at the Grazia Deledda Italian Cultural Centre, a lecture was held entitled “Italian Fashion Jewellery. Creativity and Innovation” with a focus on the theme of Made in Italy in the jewellery sector, given by the Didactic Coordinator of the Specializing Master in Fashion Creation: Accessory Design, Susanna Testa.
