POLI.design participates in Italian Design Day at the National Museum of Cameroon
On the occasion of the Italian Design Day in Africa, taking place at Cameroon National Museum in the capital city Yaoundé between May 28th and 30th 2023, POLI.design is pleased to announce its participation to the event
On the occasion of the Italian Design Day in Africa, taking place at Cameroon National Museum in the capital city Yaoundé between May 28th and 30th 2023, POLI.design is pleased to announce its participation to the event, thanks to a video contribution in French, created in collaboration with Miss Paola Galdi, Director of the International Affairs Office, and Professor Giulia Gerosa, Vice Director of the Interior Design Master and Coodirector of the Executive Master in Customized Environmental Design.
During the talk, sensitive issues, such as quality of education and sustainable development projects, will be discussed, aiming at using Design and the most innovative creative methodologies, like Design Thinking, as a tool of social investigation and improvement, and creating international development cooperation projects, in order to get closer to the main cultural institutions linked to the territory.
Our active participation to the event, organized by Mancini Worldwide in collaboration with the Italian Embassy in Yaoundè and Cameroon Ministry of Art and Culture, represents a unique opportunity of exchange between one of the most prestigious institutions in the field of Design and the artistic and cultural organisations of one of the richest in creative potential and most interesting areas of the entire world. Our goal is to build a virtuous dialogue between our universes, to enhance the circulation of ideas, reward young talents and give our personal contribution to the change we are all waiting to see.
