A unique opportunity to discover more about Italian oenology: WINE CULTURE and DESIGN is an innovative program set in Castello di Meleto in Gaiole in Chianti (Tuscany). POLI.design provides a 3-day and a 5- all-inclusive experience dedicated to wine lovers.
WINE CULTURE and DESIGN is a comprehensive training journey in the Chianti Classico Area that embraces a holistic approach. It is an opportunity to deepen the understanding of Italian oenology under the guidance of wine tasters, industry professionals, and international entrepreneurs. Theoretical and practical learning are the focus of on-site visits to wineries and hands-on experiences.
Participants will visit some of the most relevant venues for wine production in Tuscany. Here, they will get the chance to embark on a sensory exploration of wine through interactive lectures involving the five senses. They will learn more about the terroir and culture by paying attention to historical facts, heritage, appellations, the impact of certifications, and viticulture advancements in today’s industry. In conclusion, they will discover the sustainable evolution of the enological sector.
The offer stems from the collaboration between POLI.design and Professor Silvia Baratta (Scientific Director of the program, CEO of Gheusis). It is conducted under the patronage of AGIVI (Associazione Italiana Giovani Imprenditori Vinicoli), Donne del Vino, and ONAV (Organizzazione Nazionale Assaggiatori di Vino). KKM Group promotes both the 3-day and 5-day experiences. Below, you can find detailed information about the programs.
