EARLY BIRD 10% for enrollment in Specializing Masters and Executive Courses starting in the next months
For the second year in a row, students of the Specializing Master in Strategic Design will take part in an educational experience entirely dedicated to the non-profit field.
On the occasion of the National Day against Food Waste, POLI.design is happy to announce the collaboration with Banco Alimentare. From 5 to 23 February, 35 international students of the Specializing Master in Strategic Design will collaborate in a workshop whose main purpose is to apply the dynamics of extended and inclusive co-design to third sector activities.
The purpose of Banco Alimentare is to support local partner organisations in the distribution of foodstuffs to the needy and people suffering from severe food insecurity. It also contributes to the reduction of waste through the recovery, management and redistribution of surpluses generated along the food chain. The students, of 15 nationalities, visited the headquarters of the Banco Alimentare Association of Lombardy and had the opportunity to visit the warehouse to get in touch with Banco Alimentare’s territorial partner organisations and the dynamics of this reality. It was the first taste of a stimulating and challenging training course. In the weeks to come, they will interact with the partner to activate extended and inclusive co-design dynamics. In this way, the experiences and ideas of students and professionals can enrich and feed off each other. The workshop coaches are Massimo B. Randone and Margherita Paleari, assisted by Eleonora Lendaro, student of the 24th edition of the Master in Strategic Design.
