The management of Luxury, The experiential communication and The Italian design and fashion

From Thursday, June 9 to Saturday, June 11, 2016 POLI.design hosted a group of students from HEG – Haute École de Gestion of Geneva.

The group, composed of 21 students led by Professor Mark Schumacher, Director of the MAS program in Luxury Management, was in Milan for a study-trip of three days dedicated to the world of design and luxury.
During the three days, the students had the chance to study topics such as The management of Luxury, The experiential communication and The Italian design and fashion, alternating lectures given by Prof. Francesco Scullica (Politecnico di Milano), by Luca Marchetti (professor of semiotics at the Institut Français de la Mode (IFM) in Paris, the HEAD – University of Art and Design in Geneva and the Politecnico di Milano), and Francois Xavier de Monts (expert in the field of fashion and luxury), and visits to companies, showrooms and spaces in Milan traditionally linked to the design and fashion.
