POLI.design has designed and implemented the “Design and Italian SMEs: an International development  Higher Education Course for Chinese professionals from Guangdong District.

Lessons were held on Monday, September 11, 2017 and Tuesday, September 12 at POLI.design. The 32 members of the Chinese delegation, under the teacher’s guidance of the Politecnico of Milano professors Marzia Mortati, Valentina Auricchio and Venanzio Arquilla, had the opportunity to discuss about issues related to the new challenges and internationalization processes that small/medium-sized Italian companies have to face.

Particular attention has been paid to the case study of Brianza Design District, which has also hosted a visit on Tuesday, September 12: Riva 1920, Porro S.p.A and Giorgetti Spa opened the doors of their factories and showrooms to welcome the delegation and present their companies.

The programme ended with a ceremony, during which participants received a certificate issued by POLI.design.
