Fondazione Italia Cina and POLI.design join their strengths in order to make design, and its diffusion, grow between Italy and China. The collaboration agreement signed today, April 27, 2022, by Professor Matteo O. Ingaramo, CEO of POLI.design, and Cav. Lav. Mario Boselli, President of Fondazione Italia Cina, aims at encouraging and creating training paths for students, professionals and companies, as well as at building a system of cultural and commercial relations between the two countries.
The cooperation will cover the areas of Orange Economy, sustainability and design through the production of new generation goods and services, with a focus on design and aesthetics as salient issues in the expansion and evolution of manufacturing, services and third sector. Essential tools of the agreement will be educational programs, training initiatives addressed to students and companies, as well as cultural events. Together, Fondazione Italia Cina and POLI.design will prepare, promote and provide joint training courses on specific themes and sectors and will collaborate in the realization of a partnership in China for the mutual promotion of recruiting and didactic activities addressed to Chinese students in Italy and to the contingents of students addressed to Italian higher education, in the specific field of design.
“We are very honoured to sign this agreement today, which underlines the strong bond that binds POLI.design to China and allows us to continue the great work of promoting design culture carried out in the last 10 years thanks to collaborations and partnerships with the largest institutions and training centers in the country. Since 2012, thanks to our activity we have trained about 700 students, managers and professionals through training courses dedicated to themes such as strategic design, design management, fashion and accessories design, space design, and much more. – declared Matteo O. Ingaramo, CEO of POLI.design – This work is even more important if done in this period, which promises to be unique for the intensification of creativity and planning. In fact, design with its approach becomes a strategic asset for the innovation and competitiveness of institutions and companies. We are therefore happy to be able to carry out this work alongside the Italy-China Foundation, which will enrich and inspire this important path.”
