At the Italian Embassy in Kuwait, the awarding of certificates for the participants in the SENSITALIANI project

In the week from 11th to 15th December 2021, the Italian Embassy in Kuwait promoted a series of events and initiatives to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the Italian recognition of the State of Kuwait with the aim of emphasising the importance of this relationship, which has been consolidated over the years. Among these initiatives, on December 15th at Spazio Italia – Kuwait, there was the opening of the exhibition entitled Italy and Urban planning in Kuwait, which recounts a path of suggestions and intense work that from 1969 to 1990 contributed to the urban development of part of Kuwait City.

The opening of the exhibition was also a moment dedicated to the participants of SENSITALIANI, an international project born from the collaboration between POLI.design and the Italian Embassy in Kuwait, which aims at promoting Italian design and telling its history and peculiarities as a multidisciplinary set of skills, creativity, research and entrepreneurship. In particular, after a welcome message from Matteo O. Ingaramo – CEO of POLI.design and Professor Anna Barbara – Scientific Director of the project, the students participating in the programme received the certificate attesting their participation in the seminars.

The Italian Ambassador to Kuwait Carlo Baldocci, also expressed his satisfaction for the enthusiasm and success of the initiatives, stating that: “it is also on the basis of these extraordinary successes that we look forward with confidence and optimism to the next sixty years of the great friendship between Italy and Kuwait”.
