“Diva! Italian Glamour in Fashion Jewellery”

Finally, the second edition of the itinerant exhibition DIVA! Italian Glamour in Fashion Jewellery has started.

Organised by POLI.design and sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, the Italian Ambassy in Rabat and the Italian Institute of Culture, DIVA! tells us an unpublished story about the transformation of the aesthetics of jewellery as a path of stylistic and cultural evolution and women’s empowerment, taking distance form the traditional view of jewels as a mere decorative object and, as opposite, making it a significant tool of socio-cultural action.

Inaugurated on May 23^rd at the National Museum of Jewellery in Rabat and curated by Professor Alba Cappellieri, Scientific Director of POLI.design Master in Fashion Creation: Accessory Design, as well as full professor at Politecnico di Milano and Director of the Museum of Jewellery in Vicenza, the exhibition will be visible to the public in the Moroccan capital until July 23^rd.

Over 200 iconic artworks from the 50’s till nowadays will be exhibited, giving the visitors the chance to retrace the milestones of the evolution of jewellery, enhancing creativity, beauty and innovation of the traditional Italian manufacture.

The Exhibition DIVA! continues all around the world!

To promote the beauty and craftsmanship of Italian fashion jewelry, featuring 200 pieces of jewelry from Italian greatest jewelers, stylists and designers. Also for the next stage this is the goal of the exhibition managed by POLI.design and sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation and the Italian Ambassy in Tripoli which will open at old city of Tripoli, on September 30, 2023 and will be accessible until October 14, 2023.
