EARLY BIRD 10% for enrollment in Specializing Masters and Executive Courses starting in the next months
From February 6 to 22, 2023, 35 international students of the Master in Strategic Design will work with AIRC and EMERGENCY two historical excellences of the Italian NGO’s scene.
POLI.design, the post-graduate school in Design of the Politecnico di Milano, in collaboration with AIRC and EMERGENCY, has proposed a design challenge on nonprofit issues to the students of the Master in Strategic Design. Within the learning path the students, coming from 13 different countries, will measure themselves with themes, objectives, issues, people and languages expression of the best Italian Third Sector.
The workshop takes place from February 6 to 22 alongside two outstanding organizations such as AIRC and EMERGENCY and focuses on the themes:
Over a three-week workshop, reasoning about opportunities related to brand perception, targeting and new trends, the challenge will be to explore the silent potential of current Italian non-donors, defining new ways and new types of action to get to know them and motivate them to undertake small or large forms of more active and aware citizenship.
The entire workshop analysis and design is co-lead by Massimo B. Randone (lecturer who deals with Corporate University programs for several companies, also with personal experience in non-profit projects through the brand Sos-Design), and by Margherita Paleari (lecturer, strategic designer and consultant in communication and branding). For this first edition there is the collaboration of Alessandro Raineri, a former student of the Master’s program now a junior UX designer at Luxottica, in the role of strategic design facilitator.
With the aim of building a fertile and innovative context through the contamination of different disciplines and professions, managers and young talents from AIRC and EMERGENCY will be involved at the working tables.
The goal is to best activate the dynamics of expanded and inclusive co-design so that the experiences and ideas of students and professionals can enrich and nourish each other.
“Inaugurating, within the Specializing Master in Strategic Design, paths expressly dedicated to organizations of excellence in the Third Sector is an honor and a responsibility that we would like to become a fixed experience in our educational offerings at the highest level of international challenges.” – Cabirio Cautela, CEO POLI.design.
