With more than 14 years of operational history, Guangzhou Design Week is the first annual international design exhibition in China since 2006 and the most influential and largest commercial activity in the Chinese design industry.
Founded by the Guangzhou Municipal Government in 2006, Guangzhou Design Week (GZDW) is the first and largest design event in China, approved and promoted by the International Federation of Architects/Interior Designers (IFI) since 2007.
With “Promoting design through business” as its mission, GZDW follows the operation mode of “365 + 4 (days)”, i.e. 4 days of exhibition and 365 days of B2B business events and branding promotion.
For the 2021 edition of the Guangzhou Design Week, which will be held in December, will be present as judges for POLI.design Matteo Ingaramo, judge of G+ Awards and Giulia Gerosa, judge of Hers Design, , both of them competing in the design during the event.
G+AWARDS is a global design competition initiated and organised jointly by world-renowned design associations and institutes, which aims to collect outstanding spatial design projects submitted by global designers.
Hers Design Awards was initiated jointly by GZDW and renowned Sino-foreign design organisations. It is an award that aims to commend those outstanding Chinese women designers who have developed eminent interior, furniture and fashion designs. It aims to showcase Chinese women’s design skills to the world and demonstrate their dedication to society.
