POLI.design signs the agreement with Shanghai Institute of Visual Arts and SIVA DeTao School of Design

We are proud to announce the beginning of a new agreement between POLI.design, Shanghai Institute of Visual Arts (SIVA) and SIVA DeTao School of Design. SIVA, founded in 2005 and located in the city centre of SongJiang University – Shanghai, is a new art and design institute. Formerly known as Shanghai Institute of Visual Arts – Fudan University, it was approved by the National Ministry of Education (China) in 2013 to become an independent non-governmental higher education institution and the official name was changed to Shanghai Institute of Visual Art. SIVA is committed to promoting an open school model close to the industry sector and integrated into society, focusing on a method combining industry-university cooperation and resource sharing. In 2018, SIVA and DeTao Group combine their resources to jointly establish SIVA DeTao School of Design (hereinafter referred to as DeTao Academy), a design school that aims to form an integrated, high-level and international teaching team focusing on research in the fields of design, fashion, arts, business, animation and film.

The purpose of this agreement is: to train both online and offline professionals in the field of design in the SIVA DeTao School of Design and POLI.design Joint Training Center, to train and provide consultancy to companies in the field of design in the DeTao POLI.design Masters Studio and to promote forums, competitions and events dedicated to the design sector.

The agreement was signed yesterday by the CEO of POLI.design, Matteo O. Ingaramo and the Vice President of Shanghai Institute of Visual Arts, Zhenwei Yu.
