CAN YOU FEEL THIS FESTIVE AIR?
The new year is coming. And like it, the vacations are also near, bringing us closer to the news and new projects of 2022.
In Italy, the holiday season gives us the opportunity to breathe a different atmosphere than usual. A warm atmosphere that accompanies an imagery of snow, reindeer and everything that has to do with the festivity leading up to the new year: Christmas.
You will see both large and small cities change their appearance, illuminated by new lights. And in the streets, it will not be difficult to hear traditional Christmas carols and give into the urge to sing (knock on the door of any Italian if you want to know the lyrics of some traditional songs).
But at the end of the day, holiday season is also an opportunity for everyone to give into their creativity.
From decorating your home to preparing greeting cards … anyone can find their own way to enjoy the seasonal atmosphere.
Especially designers like us.

Designers have always tried their hand at reinterpreting festive decorations, in some cases trying to combine aesthetics with typical holiday values, such as charity, union, hope and love.
We have collected some interesting projects for you, curated by different designers in recent years. You will see that most of them are a reinterpretation of the traditional Christmas Tree, as a symbol of the holiday season.
YOUR TURN!
For DOT’s first holiday season we thought of involving all POLI.design students in an initiative that allows them to share new creative ideas.
You will have to:
Just in time for you to print them and send them as this year’s greetings!
