Signed the agreement between POLI.design and China Industrial Design Association (CIDA)

We are proud to announce the beginning of a new agreement between POLI.design and China Industrial Design Association (CIDA), the only state-level industrial organisation in China, founded in 1979 to promote high quality sustainable economic and social development.

CIDA consists of chinese and international universities, research institutes, design companies, manufacturing enterprises, industrial parks and promotion organisations, covering over 30 sectors.

It extensively carries out talent education, design services, intellectual property transactions and transformations, thus forming a social public service platform. In addition, it serves the government, society and industry in depth, and strives to create a better future for the economy and society.

In 2016, more than 30 countries and regions around the world jointly launched the World Industrial Design Conference (WIDC), which now covers more than 50 countries and was attended by Professor Matteo Ingaramo. In 2019, Global Design Industry Organization (GDIO) was founded, an international organisation of the design industry, of which POLIMI system is Vice President Unit.

The purpose of this agreement is to promote education, short courses, business consulting, events, competitions, innovation centres and the promotion of specialised masters in the field of Industrial and Product Design.

The agreement was signed yesterday by the CEO of POLI.design, Matteo O. Ingaramo and the President of China Industrial Design Association, Ning Liu.
