Sparks of Innovation – Service Design Masterclasses

The 2024 edition of the masterclasses on service design. Lectures are open to students and alumni of Politecnico di Milano as well as to everyone who wants to learn more about the multi-disciplinary debate.

The service design lectures

An opportunity to face some relevant topics on the evolution of services: the Specializing Master in Service Design by POLI.design invites you to the “Sparks of Innovation” masterclasses. The 2024 edition includes a series of remote lectures and interactive activities. It engages a broad community of students, alumni, and professionals.

From February to May, five lectures feature innovation and service design experts. The masterclass series focuses on current issues, next frontiers, and ongoing projects related to service design. It takes into account both disciplinary and interdisciplinary perspectives. The English-language series is held online through the Cisco Webex platform and includes interactive practical activities.

Students and alumni of Politecnico di Milano can attend the lectures for free upon registration. In addition, “Sparks of Innovation” opens its doors to designers, managers, professionals, and anyone wishing to connect with the academic world to stay updated on service design. For the second category of participants, there is a mandatory 20 euro fee to cover administrative costs and as a symbolic commitment encouraging the attendance.
