Loneliness is now recognized as a health risk, yet our cities often lack safe, welcoming spaces where people can gather and reconnect with nature. “What Design Can Do” highlights the role of design not as a luxury for the privileged few but as a powerful tool that can help us heal faster, learn better, and connect across social divides. The film demonstrates how interdisciplinary research shapes design that enhances life.
The relationship between states of mind and design practices is at the core of the Executive Course in Neuroscience and Design, equipping architects, engineers, and designers with essential tools to understand psychological and neurological mechanisms. As we embark on a new journey, this short film presentation marks the first step.
