EARLY BIRD 10% for enrollment in Specializing Masters and Executive Courses starting in the next months
On the occasion of the event, which took place on September 23, 2021 at 6 pm, the new Course of POLI.design and UNO starting in 2022 was presented.
How did the idea of the Higher Education Course in Welcoming Design come about? Why is there a need to train designers capable not only of intervening in the proposition, planning and coordination of services from an experiential point of view, but also of anticipating and governing relational and behavioral dynamics by developing an empathetic, proactive and constructive attitude? What are the knowledge, tools and approaches that allow you to acquire these skills? These are the topics that has been dealt with during the presentation evening of the Higher Education Course in Welcoming Design by POLI.design and UNO.
In a reality in which the needs, expectations and values of the user are in continuous evolution, in which digitalization and the use of technology prevail, understanding, anticipating and managing these dynamics becomes a critical element in making the difference.
This is even more true for all those services in which interpersonal relationships and mutual involvement, personal attitude and communication skills are essential and unavoidable, and at the same time valid and necessary both in the hospitality sector – catering, hotellerie, events and wellness – and in banking and consulting services, in retail and in brand management and communication.
The proposal of the Higher Education Course in Welcoming Design was born from the collaboration between POLI.design and UNO in response to the growing demand for professionals able to propose, plan and coordinate services from an experiential point of view and, at the same time, to anticipate and govern the relational and behavioural dynamics by practicing and enhancing an empathic, proactive and constructive attitude. For this reason, the course, enhancing the approach of the Politecnico di Milano, wants to emphasize and enhance the cultural, behavioral and social components that influence the experiential dimension.
On the occasion of the evening, which took place on September 23, the event was introduced by the presentation of the Higher Education Course in Welcoming Design with the projection of the video that featured the Course teachers Francesco Zurlo and Matteo O. Ingaramo, respectively President and CEO of POLI.design. Together with them, also the three co-founders of UNO, the Contraste’s starred Chef Matias Perdomo, the journalist and gastronomic storyteller Paolo Vizzari and entrepreneur Stefano Scaroni.
Afterwards, the protagonists of the video spoke and discussed with the Councillor for Education, University, Research, Innovation and Simplification Fabrizio Sala, the Patron Maitre at the restaurant Dal Pescatore TBC Antonio Santini and the Director of the Association L’abilità Onlus TBC Carlo Riva.
In the beautiful setting of the ballroom of the Villa Reale, during the evening presentation, participants had the opportunity to explore the theme of Welcoming Design, interface with experts in the field and learn about the objectives, professional opportunities and much more, of the Higher Educational Course starting in 2022.
