EARLY BIRD 10% for enrollment in Specializing Masters and Executive Courses starting in the next months
The first of the three modules planned for the SayD’SignersSarawak – POLI.design Furniture Course project, born from the agreement between POLI.design and the Sarawak Timber Industry Development Corporation (STIDC) based in Malaysia, has just ended. The aim of the project is to promote the Italian culture and vision linked to the field of design and to transfer innovative know-how by fostering business culture, encouraging cultural awareness and building a solid network of international contacts.
The first module, which has involved 16 Malaysian designers, was held by Luca Fois – Professor at Politecnico di Milano, Elisa Astori – Professor at Politecnico di Milano and Vincenzo Vinci – Designer and Founder of Vinci Studio_Design and Research and was focused on the introduction of the participants to the sector of furniture design in view of the second module, scheduled in the coming months, which will allow them to put these theoretical notions into practice through the development of a workshop on site in Malaysia. The project will then conclude with a third module that will give participants the opportunity to go on a study tour in Milan, exploring one of the world’s most recognised design locations, Italy, and to exhibit the projects created during the workshop.
