Camilla Roveri

Bio

Camilla Roveri is a PhD candidate in Organizational Engineering at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), where her research centers on building collaborative ecosystems to drive inclusive digital transformation in the public sector. She holds Master’s degrees in Artificial Intelligence for Public Services from UPM and Politecnico di Milano, and in Strategies and Technologies for Development from Universidad Complutense de Madrid and UPM. Additionally, she has a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Diplomatic Affairs from the University of Bologna.
Over the past four years, Camilla has worked with NGOs to bridge technology, community engagement, and policy innovation, with a particular focus on AI sustainability. Her contributions include policy recommendations and digital rights initiatives across Ibero-America. As a member of the Spanish National Secretariat of Amnesty International, she concentrates on the intersection of technology and human rights.
Camilla is an active member of the EELISA Ethics, Social Commitment & Entrepreneurship community and co-founder of the EELISA Re-shape Next Generation Academia initiative, reflecting her commitment to advancing the role of academia in addressing global challenges.
