A seguito della pandemia da COVID19 molti paradigmi del design sono necessariamente da ripensare e re-inventare. La comunità del POLIMI Design System del Politecnico di Milano, il 24 giugno 2020, dalle 9’30, lancia una diretta continua di 24 ore, attraverso una scaletta che segue i fusi orari internazionali; si farà quindi il giro del mondo mantenendo, in ogni tappa della conversazione, lo stesso momento della giornata.
Verrà coinvolto il network internazionale del POLIMI Design System e, attraverso docenti, professionisti e Alumni, si attiverà una discussione veloce e dinamica dedicata alla cultura del progetto, orientata alla riflessione sul cambiamento del design post lockdown.
Attraverso interventi di mezzora, i 48 invitati svilupperanno i propri talk attorno ad un termine, una parola chiave da loro proposta che ritengano essere significativa per definire il design e i suoi cambiamenti.
Nonostante la dimensione internazionale di 24H WORLDWIDE DESIGN CONVERSATIONS, il POLIMI Design System promuove un’iniziativa in stretta correlazione con il suo territorio, che possa dare un ulteriore segnale di forte spinta per un nuovo inizio di Milano e della Lombardia, particolarmente e tristemente colpite dalla pandemia.

Modalità di partecipazione

Ad ogni invitato alla 24H WORLDWIDE DESIGN CONVERSATIONS verrà chiesto di indicare: una parola chiave per il design dopo il lockdown (in qualsiasi lingua) e una breve spiegazione della stessa (eng). Gli invitati e le loro parole saranno pubblicati sul programma dell’iniziativa, insieme al promotore Polimi Design System con cui condivideranno la diretta assegnata (in base al fuso orario).
Il pubblico potrà partecipare inviando (24h-design@polimi.it) materiale, in formato di testo o immagine, relativo a ciascuna parola. Tale materiale verrà reso disponibile a tutti i relatori, che lo utilizzeranno per arricchire i propri interventi e per interagire virtualmente con il pubblico durante il talk.
