Food technologist, she became an expert in Food Packaging at the PackLab (University of Milan). In 2002 she founded Pack Co, a university spinoff, leader of numerous funded research projects on materials in contact with food (Biobased, Nanocellulose, Active Packaging, etc) and partner of R&D, of sustainability and innovation projects and Risk Assessment & Exposure Evaluation to Contaminants of many companies that produce and use packaging materials. She is actually member of several Sector Technical Commissions.
