Dr. Giovanni Vecchiato achieved his degree in Telecommunication Engineering in Napoli in 2007, and the PhD in Neurophysiology at Sapienza University in Rome in 2011.
He worked at the Department of Physiology and Pharmacology for 9 years where his work was mainly related to the field of the Applied Neuroscience. His studies were focused on the development of neurophysiological indices (EEG, ECG, GSR) to describe cognitive and emotional processes during complex tasks. Since 2016, Dr. Vecchiato is Post Doc Researcher at the Institute of Neuroscience of the National Research Council of Italy located in Parma. His studies relate to action prediction in driving and bodily perception during the appreciation of artwork and architectural contexts.
