Professore associato in Sociologia dei processi culturali e comunicativi presso l’Università di Ferrara. È autore di Coolhunting (FrancoAngeli, 2010) e curatore di Moda e arte (FrancoAngeli, 2012), Fashion Tales: Feeding the Imaginary (Peter Lang, 2017) e From Production to Consumption: The Cultural Industry of Fashion (Interdisciplinary, 2013). È co-editor dell’International Journal of Fashion Studies. I suoi saggi sono stati pubblicati su riviste internazionali peer-reviewed quali Fashion Theory, Poetics e Film, Fashion and Consumption. Come studioso di moda, i suoi interessi spaziano dal trendwatching a media digitali, professioni creative e intermediari culturali, con particolare attenzione ai digital influencer.
